Can we talk about this album please? Initially none of the tracks were really jumping out at me, despite the huge disco influence. Disco haters are lame and boring, so I was having some inner conflict over a lack of response to each track while I skipped through each one. Finally got home and listened to the album in full and LOVE IT. The only track that doesn’t really do anything for me is “The Game of Love” mostly because I’d probably have to be REALLY high to appreciate it. It’s too down tempo soft rock for me, and something all soft rock stations play in the early morning hours for those listeners using the radio for some background music to accompany copulation.

“Touch” is perfect and sounds really creepy in an enclosed space like my car. The intro was freaking me out and reminds me of the scary ass interlude at the end of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence” that can only be heard if you listen to the full track, not the radio edit.

Hmmmmm downloading ;)
